Uniform Server - Windows

I am attempting to create a way to make automated back-ups of my UniServer3_2. I would like to have the computer automatically back-up at 2:00 AM Friday mornings. I am trying to do this with RichCopy. I am currently running the following commands: mysqlstop.bat stop.bat richcopy.exe "C:\UniServer3_2" "D:\Backup" /ALWS The problem is that even though I have shut the server down RichCopy cannot copy all the files because they are still in use. When I look in Task Manager I see that mysqld-opt is still running and I think that this is keeping some of the files in the diskw directory open. I am behind a router I have my ports opened to 8080, I also have an DtDNS account. the thing is when I try to load my site it gives me my router config page not my (WWW) server page. the DtDNS will not let me add :8080 to my ip address what can I do I am now getting

Hi Guys :angry: I have a strange problem occurring here with trying to upgrade to uniform server 5.6.6 Nano I use Joomla Pack now “AKEEBA BACKUP” for all our Joomla sites, some on Cpanel & some sites on Uniform Server Mona 4.0 Joomla Pack takes a remote backup of the complete websites and databases and I can re install them on any Cpanel and Uniform Server Mona 4.0 but when trying to re install them on 5.6.6 Nano everything installs correctly and the sites run but all the website menus do not display and if you log into the back end the menus are listed but when you click on any menu say “Main Menu” the listings are missing Even If I don’t use Joomla Pack a…

Hi All, I have been using Uniserver at college and it works most of the time. I have no such luck at home. I ran the .exe file for version 5.3 and 5.4 and get the same result - localhost not found after I try and start Uniserver(APche MySQL) or try to goto to phpMyAdmin page or the Admin Panel etc. The redirect.html page 'purple screen' appears and then when the redirect happens i get a 'page not found' I have AVG installed and stopped that as I thought it might be messing with things but no change happened. Hi, Some time ago (few years, really) I working with Uniserver 3.2 (Apache 2.0.54, PHP 5.0.4, MySQL 4.1.12a, phpMyAdmin-2.6.3-rc1) and so far not had problems with compatibility. But now I need to work with php 5.2 and want to update all Uniserver. How to do this step by step?. What version from uniserver is the best for me? thanks

Dear BoardMembers, I've just recently tried installing the miniserver 20 reverse proxy and tried mapping to my joomla website and it works like charm. However, when i was browsing using the MS Internet Explorer, the page is garbled or jumbled content. If i use mozilla, it works like charm. Is there a way for me to fix this? I was able to install magento by using 127.0.0.1 and it works fine. Here is the problem. I have a client who wants me to take an existing magneto installation and modify the css to look like an entirely different store. Imported the database and copied all of the files. configured the local.xml file to reflect the changes. When I go to the home page I get the following errors. Hi, Any hope for PHP 5.3.3 in US 4.5 serie? I know that is old one but I *really* love that particular edition for its compact form. I do not need much more that PHP/Mysql and 4.5 fits perfectly my needs, while 6.x serie is... well.. sorry... bloatware with far too much useless (for me) features and terrible tray controller. Hello there. I was just wanting to drop a note in here for a possible bug in uniform server and the way it generates SSL certs from "\UniServer\unicon\key_cert_gen\Run.bat". It was appending the text /me@example.com to my certificate. A simple comment out of that line( line 106) in the array in file: "\UniServer\unicon\key_cert_gen\ssl_gen.php", and the regeneration of the certificate, fixed the issue. Additionally, i changed the country, province and region to my own liking as well. Why are these not user configurable from the run.bat program? what would be the point of appending me@example.com to the certificate? if theres no point, is this not a bug? let …

I just upgraded from 5.6.1 Nano to 5.6.13 Nano. I overwrote the old files and that broke everything so I deleted all of it and started with the new version. Old version ran fine, except very slow (1 minute page loads) on installed Drupal sites. Drupal 6.19 will not install on new installation. White screen of death after selecting English in Drupal setup. US is on a 16GB flashdrive. System is WinXP-Pro version 2002 SP3, 2Ghz processor, 2GB of RAM. I was a little bit fashion to try both Carbo 6.0.1 and Carbo 6.0.2, but found both omitted a space smart ;-) I mean, the omitted space in the definition of function 'port_in_use()' in file 'UniServer/unicon/main/includes/functions.php' ... At least in the Nano 5.6.X series, the space counts; but in the new Carbo 6.0.X, it may lead to ridiculous and erroneous 'port in use' message for just something listens on 0.0.0.0:80X or 0.0.0.0:80XX ... Dear All, I'm experiencing such a problem with Uniserver. Tried on two different computers, one with Windows Vista Business 32bit, the other - Windows 7 (unfortunately did not check exact version). The situation is as follows: On Vista machine I've unzipped Uniserver 5.6.3 succesfully, copied my CakePHP site into it, imported data to local MySQL and everything worked fine. Than I copied everything on my pendrive - and still everything was OK. Can anyone tell me how do i prevent apanel 3 from opening redirect.html? In a panel 2, the text below explain how to do it, but in apanel 3, there isn´t server_start.bat. If you want to prevent apanel display when the servers are started open file Server_Start.bat locate the line start %apanel%\redirect.html and comment it out by adding either ":" or "rem" at the start of the line eg rem start %apanel%\redirect.html I use uniform server 5.6.7-nano. Hello, I am a former and long-time WAMP user and decided to use uni this time around for my environment. First off, I would just like to say so far I like it... I have spent some time setting things up how I want them and I am almost there. I had a few problems off the bat because the docs are outdated mostly but I got'er goin. I hate using the default "root" user for mysql so I changed that and had to edit quite a bit. I miss my WAMP clickable php mod's but noticed uni is pretty much setup with what you need by default. The reason why I ask is I am on Dial-up because i am in a rural area in california and that is all I can afford I can't do Satellite internet and there is no WiMAX,4G,or DSL available. I can only do big downloads through my phone which is a Boost Incoginto and I tried downloading uniserver through sourceforge and it trys to download but when I download it comes out 1KB. Downloading 17+MBs on Dial-up takes along time and becomes unstable. I mainly need the web server for my LAN. Hello, Do you have a version of 5.6.9 compiled using VC9 Binaries? I ask because 6.0.0 is VC9, but compiled using the old version of 5.6.8. I know that VC9 has some performance improvements, which are of particular interest to me.

I used Uniserver 3.5 Apollo for many years. Recently updated to Uniserver 5.1 nano I have noticed that unitray shows a message at start everytime i access start.exe I have read the message and don't want to see it everytime i want to start server. I'm trying to reinstall the uniserver software but i wanted to delete it from my computer first. It won’t let me delete it because it claims the files are in use but I’m pretty sure I turned off everything.
