Ohai everyone i've installed US together with mod_security and Wordpress and running it in Production mode. However I noticed in the Apache acces.log that all referring ip's where from my router and not from outside ip's e.a. Google and the likes ports 80 & 443 are forwarded. any idea how to fix this ?? seems I got stuck on this kthxby

Hello, I just purchased a new computer, with windows7 64bit installed. I have been unable to install uniform server onto the computer. I have been unable to get through the port check. I downloaded and installed UniServer5_6_2.exe I go to the http://localhost/apanel/ in the left menu click on Version Check the Uniform Server Version Check page loads and says their is a newer version. Checking Version... A Newer version of the Uniform Server is available! Hi I am running miniserver phpbb on my laptop and I have noticed that the time is never right. I have been through all the settings and have been able to find the time zone and the date and time format but not the time setting. Anyone have any ideas how to fix it?

I have Uniform Server 5.5a - Nano and the 'unitray' doesn't always seem to turn the services on and off properly. Also, I rarely see the Start and Stop buttons - instead they become 'Install and Run all Services' and 'Stop and Remove all Services'. I sometimes have to press these a few times to start/stop uniserver. What can be the problem?

Hi all, Simple enough query here, I moved from 4.2 on Windows XP to Uniform server 5.5 when I installed Windows 7 this week. When I try to use my PHP/MySQL page it just consantly says loading, but when I use 4.2 on Windows 7 it works fine, I'd like to upgrade - can anybody tell me what's happening here. Hi All, I have a problem with Mozilla Thunderbird, the program that I use to manage the emails. The problem regards the messages filtering rules: I have added lot of them, during the years, so that now the management is very difficult. Sometimes I notice that a filter is enabled for a mistake, I don't know how to disable it, and a lot of important mails go to the Recycler bin. I know that to delete the filter I must remove the check from the email in the message filtering menu, but the problem is how to find it! Hi I was having a lot of trouble with MySQL official setup. It was installed ok but when I opened their initial config software crashed a lot of times. One week ago I have tried WampServer.com but it crashed in minutes of use. I read about and discovered it's not good as a production server. So I found UniformServer yesterday. Ive just installed Uniserver 5.5 on a Win 2003 VPS. The install seems fine according to the "server status" dialogue: the server status However, if I select any of the options in the unitray menu that have a "earth sphere" image ( Admin Panel, phpMyAdmin, WWW Root or SSL Root) I get this weird error: the error Ive tried hunting the forum for this error, but no luck so far. Hi there. I downloaded the latest 5.6 beta and tried starting up on Vista 32 bit. For some reason, every page redirects to a 500 Internal Server error. I can't even reach the apanel. I tried with a basic html page in the www folder too and it's the same result, so it can't be a PHP configuration error. I have installed the UniServer. What a great idea, especially for people trying to develop web sites. Anyhow, I get the server to work all right. PHPMyAdmin runs fine. But I simply cannot get WordPress to work. After copying over the files into the www directory, and configuring the "wp-config" file, etc. I simply cannot get WordPress to run. But when I load anything - like phpmyadmin, or the control panel, or the perl script that's inside cgi-bin - nothing loads - it's just blank... I all, I have a problem on my Windows Vista that began afetr the purchase of an external Hard Disk Freecom. A few days afetr the purchase I disconnected it while it was writing and, since that moment, every time I connect and disconnect it, the PC go to freeze mode for 5 minutes. The same thing happen even if the hard disk is disconnected: every time I start windows it go to freeze a little after the password, and every time I connect and disconnect a usb device. I have loaded Uniserve and have then loaded Joomla 1.5* as per all the instructions. All goes well until I enter Http://localhost/joomla/. i get the language selection, the licence and then the datbase screen. I complete this with every combination i can think of ann then go "Next" after about 30 seconds I get a blank browser screen and that is that, it does not move on to the next screen. Please this is driving me nuts. I have tried it on a USB drive and the hard drive, same problem. I ahve been using XAMPP with mixed results in a portable situation and want something more consistant.
