I am new to uniform server, it is a great product. I have installed uniform serverZ - XIV and everything is working well. I am using it in production mode and have no issues. My concern, however, is that I have selected under the extra tab, PC-Win Stat-up. I have selected items to run at startup up both apache and mysql as well as run at start-up. However, when pc starts up the server starts as verified in the task manager startup window, but I have to manually start the user interface and both apache and mysql are off and must be manually started. They start with no problem. My issue is that when windows does an update and restarts the computer, I have to ma…

Xdebug was not working for me in 13.0.2, yet working great in past versions. I was noticing the version number of the php_xdebug.dll from past installs always matches the PHP version, but in 13.0.2 it matches the xdebug version (2.5.0). I tried copying the DLL from an older install with a matching PHP version, and it started working as expected. No other changes were made. Thanks for the excellent software! Been a user for just short of a decade.

Hi, I was using version 12.2.0 and everything worked perfectly, but after upgrading to the 12.4.0 and trying to access phpMyAdmin, I got this error: I didn't have another option rather than go to the path UniServerZ\home\us_opt1\locale and try to change the name of the folder 'es' by 'es_ES' and it worked well. My native language is Spanish.

I'm trying to change the root password of the MySql and is not working, i try using the UI in normal & safe mode, the last one seems to work to change the port in Apache last time that was a problem, the message than it sends to me in two different pop-ups is: not sure how to proceed from here, did i need to change some permisions in some files or something like that?, and if it is the case, which ones? This happend when i download and update the uniform server (Today date is 05/03/2016) Any suggestions in how to fix this? I already tried to reset the root user & password using the button on the UI and I am using windows 10 64x. Any help, comment, question…

When going to the Access and Passwords screen and setting the Server Access to "Local and Intranet Access" it creates a .htaccess file that is correct for ipv4, but only allows localhost for ipv6. The fix for this seems to be adding the following entry to the ipv6 Allow rule if the user wants to allow Intranet Access: FE80::/64 Eg: Allow from ::1 FE80::/64 I'm not sure if there are multiple localhost ranges for ipv6, but that is the main one. This is needed in scenarios where you want to access the web server using the server name and the os or dns entry defaults to ipv6.

I moved this topic from WINDOWS general topic list. This is an update. I thank you in advance for reading. UNIFORM SERVER is installed on a Windows Server 2008 R2 virtual machine on a HYPER-V node. I use PHP PDO to write/read data from a PostgreSQL 9.1 database. Sometimes UNIFORM Server stops working and I have to restart it. There are no log in PHP errors log nor in APACHE error log files. After installing new UNIFORM Server 12.0.1 version the problem still exists (read below). I added more informations. The following log is relative to the windows event: Error in d:\w7rtm\enduser\databaseaccess\src\mdac\odbc\core\dm\utsem.cpp(573), The parameter is incorrect. : Re…

...\UniServer_ZeroXII_12_0_0\docs\manual\index_main.html has a minor bug; a reference to a nonexistent name on the plugins_detail.html page.: <li><a href="plugins_detail.html#Plugin download information" >Plugin download information</a></li> the correct link is: <li><a href="plugins_detail.html#Module (Plugin) download information" >Module (Plugin) download information</a></li> Great product, I have found it very useful. Cheers, iron jim Pointing out bugs is not meant to criticize, imply mental deficiency, depreciate or otherwise demean, or diminish the self esteem of the author. They are meant to help fix the thing.

When you register to this forum system, there's a challenge question. It asks you to count down from X to Y without stating commas are needed. Due to the usage of ReCaptcha, it takes quite some tries to figure it out alone... Please mention that commas are needed.

In the URL "http://wiki.uniformserver.com/index.php/PHP_mail_function" well written by "Ric", there is a problem. The php code of mail.php should be: " .../... // Retrieve the data form $email = $ _ POST ['email']; $subject = $ _ POST ['subject']; $message = $ _ POST ['message']; $headers = 'From: may.be@laposte.net."\ r \ n". <--(!) added line 'Reply-To: may.be@laposte.net."\ r \ n". 'X-Mailer: PHP /'.phpversion(); // Check if a $ _POST value exists // If not use defaults if (empty ($ _ POST ['email'])) { .../... " Indeed, without the php function @mail's parameter named $headers, many webmails respond with an smtp error. He…

Modules greater than ZeroXI_php_5_3_29_b.exe have an old version of PHP 5.3. The version should be PHP 5.3.29, but in reality has the 5.3.9 version. Another error:Lines in the settings of PHP calling dot net extension. Removing these lines normalizes operation. "[COM_DOT_NET] extension=php_com_dotnet.dll" Picture (two errors):

I install UniServerZ and it runs fine, the controller works fine. After I reboot, I cannot start the controller anymore and I have to re-install the whole server to get it to work again. When I try to run the controller, this is the message I get: "Incorrect location! Move UniController to folder UniServerZ To prevent problems UniController will close." Obviously, I haven't changed the install path and it is still "C:\UniServerZ" I am on Windows 8.1

Hi There seems to be a bug in the UniController application with changing basic settings. Reproduction steps: 1) Load UniController 2) Under the "Apache" menu, select "edit basic and modules" and then choose "edit basic configuration" 3) Enter a valid email address under the "server admin email" that has a TLD with more than one dot, or a TLD that is only two characters. For example: example@example.com = works example@example.org = works example@example.net = works example@example.co.uk = doesn't work example@example.ac.uk = doesn't work example@example.eu = doesn't work example@example.es = doesn't work The error given is "admin E-mail: E-mail invalid format…

Hi all, When I extract ZeroXI US within a path with accented characters and starts the Apache2 web server, it says the page could not be found. Of course, no problem with a default path without space characters. It is possible to make it work with a path with accented characters, and if so how ? I changed the default charset to utf-8 with no luck. Edit: Got the same issue with Apache 2.4.9. Thank you, Daimonji

After installing the latest version of Uniserver, I browsed to the plugins_detail.html page in the Uniserver manual and noticed that 1 of the listed plugins is "ZeroXI_php_6_0_0.exe". I tried clicking on the link next to the words "Modules download folder" and got the following error message: The "/UniServer ZeroXI/Ze..r ZeroXI/ZeroModules" file could not be found or is not available. Please select another file. Then, I tried going to the ZeroXImodules folder on SourceForge and noticed that there's no file named "ZeroXI_php_6_0_0.exe".

It is impossible to compile Uni Controller XI 1.0.2 from source in Lazarus as there is missing file unicon_images.rc. If you omit the file from the source, program is compiled however the tray icon is missing. Lazarus : 1.0.14 and 1.2 RC2 for Win32 Uni Controller XI 1.0.2 source Same bug for source 1.0.1 but 1.0.0 is working perfectly. Could you please provide the file or even higher version of Uni Contoller sources for Lazarus (I can see the working version 1.0.6)?

If you try to run Uniform Server from a path that contains paths (i.e. c:\program files, c:\documents and settings\), an error pops up stating "spaces aren't allowed". It raised quite a bit of forum topics (e.g. this one). I figured it's time to add it to the tracker.

The cron service is installed but cannot start due to the following. The installer for the cron service names it "coral_cron". The section header in ".....\UniServer\uni_con\cron_service\srvstart.ini" is referring "[uS_CronS1]" instead. (That bug seems to persist since at least 12/22/2011...) Unfortunately SrvStart cannot create a meaningful error report. Please correct this asap. Thank you!
