Is there a way to add ASP and ColdFusion support?

As part of my process of my reloading my computer I've been trying to move my UniServer Installation from my hard drive (back) to a USB drive. When I attempt to run the server directly from the start_server.bat on the drive, i get an error that it cannot find the location requested. Yet, when I use a shortcut I created for a Uniform Server in the exact location, it works. What is going to happen when I bring the USB drive to another computer (other than my own) and attempt to run the server. Trying to figure out if I'm doing anything wrong, or if this is the way that US works locally, and also from outside of the network. I have US v3.3 running on a local machine just fine - with several test folders: www/test1 www/test2 www/test3 etc. The subdomain and domains are set up with GoDaddy, and I'm using the Total DNS tool to point the subdomain that I created to my static IP. After happily using 3.5 with Vista for some time, it's stopped working. I've deleted everything and reloaded Uniform server - still nothing. When I double click start.bat I get a blue screen in the browser (Firefox), followed by redirection to apanel, which is blank. Disk W is not created. Typing into the browser http://localhost/apanel/ produces a blank browser screen with the message "done" at the bottom. I can't think where to go from here. Chris

I have currently made a site but used apache tomcat as my development server, the client now used this uniform server, Apache to host the site. It doesnt work. what happens is that on IE it shows only the html parts and none of my java servlets are working. On firefox it shows the sourcecode of the whole page rather than showing the page.. is it a scripting error? or i really cant deploy jsp/java pages on an apache server?

I have come across a problem which is a bit random and shows up onlt in mozilla running maybe in strict mode. http://devedge-temp.mozilla.org/viewsource...ect-mime-types/ I am getting the error in my mozzila error console which tells me the correct MIME type isnt set for css. Hi ; Is there any way that i can see the people where they come from in to my pages?? like if someone came from google search in to my website; even the page number of the google and the keyword he used!!!! Hello I have installed Uniform Server it works on local pc but I cannot access from another pc within the same network (the other pc is just 1 meter from the first one ). On the same pc I have Oracle Express Server installed and I can access it through local network without any problem so it doesn't come from the pc or network but from the Apache config file and I'm at lost with it. Can someone help me ? Thanks.

Is there a way to access files stored on a different partition than the one Uniform Server is installed on? I have Apache and the rest running from c:/webserver/... but would like to surf to http://localhost/foo/ and view files stored on d:/projects/foo/ I know there are similar threads about this thing, but I have tried some of those with no success. I need someone to hold my hand and instruct me like talking to a seven-year-old :-) By the way, Uniform server installation was very simple and clean. Really great work! Robert Karlsson

Hi; I have uniform server in my other house. I don't know what to do to access my www folder? When i access other hosting they have their ftp address (with port!!), username and password. and i normaly use ftp browser like "core ftp or cute ftp" and i get access directly in toi ,main folder. so please someone help me how to set up connection from here to other home please. Hello, I installed Uniform Server on my computer (Windows XP). While I was doing this, I was not asked to block or unblock port 80. When my browser opens or I try to use http://localhost, the Uniform Server web page flashes open and closed and then redirects to the apanel, which is blank. If I try to turn Apache on, it says that my server is busy. I'm assuming that my port 80 is blocked by something, but I ran the cmd and it said that my port 80 is not blocked. Do you know what could be causing this? Thanks! -Steve

About once a day Im noticing my apache process maxing out my cpu. Is this a exploit in apache? I know theres a dos attack out there that can do this to older versions of apache. Or could this be a bad php script hanging? If so how would I find the script? Im using the uniform 3.5 version with apache 2.0.59 running on my dedicated with server2003.

Hi there.... How would one go about to install modules on this Windows server? I mean, how can I get shell/terminal/command kind of access where I can write the commands to make the files and install them.. The modules I need to install have install instructions like : sudo install ./configure I know my PHP, SQL and stuff, but Apache is all new to me Thanks in advance Rune

Our server is running IIS, so as far as I can see, my only option for running the US software is to run it through a different port, right? Although I would rather not have to do that, so is there any other options? Basically, if I try running the software on the server, I will get a message informing me that Apache is already running on the server. Removal of IIS won't be an option. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

I was having trouble finding modules for the version of Apache used in UniServer. If you need to get hold of modules for Apache2.0.59 (the one used in UniServer) this is what I did. Download apache_2.0.59-win32-x86-no_ssl.msi from here here Run the installer and just next through the screens When complete, go to C:\Program Files\Apache Group\Apache2 Copy the modules folder to somewhere safe like My Documents Uninstall Apache Server through the Control Panel Copy required modules to C:\Uniform Server\udrive\usr\local\apache2\modules and enable them in httpd.conf ENJOY olajideolaolorun: Could you sticky this please?

Recently, I was asked by my company to setup OpenBravoERP. But bad thing is, it requires Apache TOMCAT and Apache ANT. Which I can't find them in Uniform Server. I tried to download their binary files and put them into uniform server. But I just can't seem to get it running even when I double click the run.bat files. Is there anyway I can fix this problem ? Coz the Openbravo ERP installation is quite complex and I really need assistance in installing them. Hi! I'm using UniServer 3.5 with IIS in the same machine. I changed the port to :8080 and web server works, but I can't acces to MySQL database (Access denied for user 'root'@'localhost' (using password: YES)) I'm using the standar instalation, only change the lisening port, same configuration in other maquines without IIS works ok.
