Portable servers have an enhanced control architecture that provides automatic free drive letter detection and diagnostics. All mini-servers have the capability to run alongside each other and Uniform Server. The only restriction Uniform Server must be …

The server is packed with updated Apache 2.0, PHP 5, MySQL 5, ActivePerl 5, phpMyBackupPro 2, phpMyAdmin 2 and so on. Admin Panel 2 has also been updated and packed with some new and cool features... Ok, we where offline for some days and i just wanted to let you all know why. Recently the forum has been growing, we have been seeing more hits and so on and being cached by Google Bots so it was bound to happen that the Spammer Bots will find us. They did, and their first mass spamming launch lead us to change the registration setting to require email varification and delete unvarified members after 7 days. The second mass attack, which is the recent one, has also now lead us to change some more settings. There is now a 10second flood control delay (even though i think its too small to stop them, but good enough for everyone else) and some words have been banned from …

To feel and be safe, we have made a few modifications to the forum: First, we disallowed quick registrations. To register in the forum now, you have to have a valid email address and must activate your account unless you won't be able to post in the forum. This was done to stop the recent bot problems we have been experiencing, and it seems to be working. We also upgraded the forum software to a more recent version donated to us by a user. We will continue to update you of the changes taking place. Thanks and sorry for the inconvinence.

Yap, you got it. Our site was suspended cause i was late on the payment for my Reseller Hosting. I have had the issue resolved cause i usually pay by 5months+ and this time i plan on paying for 8months so the least they could do is bring it back up for me I am still looking into the phpMyAdmin issue, plan to test it when i get home in the afternoon and if it does not work, download a new copy to test and if that does not work, we may have to downgrade it to a old server... I know 1.6+ works perfect Please read more news at the Blog: http://blog.uniformserver.com

I had actually post this post 2 days ago but due to the bad downtimes we have been having I believe our host restored a database backup or something because the post is no where to be found. Anyways, to continue on I was able to get in touch with Taras last Saturday i believe and we had a long and good 30min+ chat about the server, 3.3, plugin development, and some other things. As most of you may know or may not know, there has been a change in hand as to whom the project manager is.
