Hello, I am trying to check whether mod_rewrite is working on my installation or not. I have ensured that mod_rewrite is not commented out in the http.conf at \usr\local\apache2\conf. At docroot I have two files test.html and test2.html. I tried to access http://localhost/test.html using the following .htaccess file and get a 403 forbidden error. Order Deny,Allow Deny from all Allow from 127.0.0.1 RewriteEngine On RewriteRule ^test.html$ /test2.html [R=301] If I delete the first 3 lines then I get a 500 Internal Server Error. I was wondering how to running two boards on the Uniform server, and if it is possible. I have made a second file and installed a fresh phpbb. But in order to bring up the second one I have to change the name of the file www. 1.) How to make it change from one db to another without having to change name of the folder? If the forside doesn't see the index.php what or where do I need to adjust to fix that? Kdaddy

Can some please explain to me how classes operate, read a fair ammount of them and still I have no clue what they really do. I know it's something to do with variables so yeah. Also what is the properties of global in functions?

I have a 2.8 GB mysql file (700 MB in sql.gz) and I want to restore it. However, I tried MySQL Administrator and it didnt even start up :angry: Any ideas how to restore this big db?

I have the phpbb set up with the uniserver on my computer now. Up and running great. I tried updating to the 2.0.13 update that just came out. But when I do the update to lastest. It still shows that I have the 2.0.12 version. I have made the changes. Any ideals what I need to do in order to get it to update appropriately. If this is in the wrong section or place I apoligize and ask that you direct me to the right place. I put in the address bar localhost/install/update_to_latest.php. It appears to do the update but when I go into the admin panel it doesn't show it has updated. Kdaddy

Greetings, Guys, can you pls help me here. i dont know if this is right to post it here, but somehow i am hoping that you can help me, since it is about phpMyAdmin.. i was doing a Database restore through phpMyAdmin. i am doing tihs because i am transferring my phpBB boards to a new host..i have splitted my database into 4 files(because sql file is really big). i have them 4 files and has 900kb each. however, when i was on the last part of the file, i have this kind of error on my phpMyAdmin.. can anyone pls help me?, i cant proceed on my project because i have this error. i am hoping that you guys can help me somehow.. thank you so much

Hello, not very sure where to place my topic . I am currently running a free forum based on PhPbb (more than 600 members). The hosting does not allow me enough flexibilty :angry: so I do envisage to move away . Does Uniformserver offer a solution for forum creation and maintenance? Thank you.

I have the source for a java server side script. It only tells how to compile it on linux or debian. Are there any tools for windows that will do this? It says that once compiled it uses tomcat.
