  1. First trobleshooting questions: A. What OS are you using? B. Do you have single installations of either PHP/Apache/MySQL? If not, have you ever single installed it on that PC before? C. Are you using Skype or any other related software like Firewall and Antivirus that may be blocking port 80?
  2. Try checking the C:/Windows or C:/Windows/Syetm32 folder for these files: LIBMYSQL.DLL & MY.CNF / MY.INI To change the password for the MySQL root user, edit the /home/admin/www/mysql_password file. To add users or anything else, use phpMyAdmin. Thanks.
  3. hmm, it should work? How did you know it doesn't? When you access it form https://localhost or how?
  4. No problem
  5. Give it a try. Try this: IndexIgnore /folder/path
  6. Take a look here: http://sourceforge.net/tracker/index.php?f...691&atid=471255
  7. Thats something in Uniform Server. It wont use the generator i think because Apache has been shrunk, still looking into it though it does not matter if yout .htpasswd file is in a safe directory outside the web root. About the directory listing, thats normal Apache. Can't do anything there. About hiding a certian folder, i'm sure you can try it. Never used it before so don't know much about that.

  11. I have never tried it with Uniform Server but i do know that the file: W:\usr\local\Php\adodb.inc.php is not in that folder, unless you added it. I will try and see, make sure it is loaded in the php.ini file and also the my.cnf file in W:\usr\local\mysql\bin Hmm.. is this function a MySQL function or PHP function? Trying to figure something out. Thanks.
  12. K, there is a Windows Version for Imagemagick @ http://www.imagemagick.org/script/binary-r...ses.php#windows I want you to try and download the .exe and use the Uniform Server as the server if it asks you. Make sure the server is running so you can test it with the W:/ drive. I will try and give it a try but might not be till this weekend. Good Luck
  13. Probably will be added to the Wiki. In fact, you can do it yourself, its simple. http://wiki.uniformserver.com/Charset_Changing Put it there.

  15. Thats what i'm trying to figure out. Not much of a big Perl fan but i am trying to get PPM to work on the server as it seems most Perl users need it. When i do, expect it here
  16. The module might not be included in our package. I will look into it for you but please try and check it in the /usr/lib/ folder.
