Try downloading a new copy og 3.2a and test it to make sure.. It should work unless you installed your copy of phpMyAdmin....

Actually that works for some as you can see. For yours, i'm sure you caused other problems while doing this: A. Do you have single installations of PHP? Apache? or MySQL? B. When you said you updated PHP and Apache, how did you do that? C. What did you chnage in the Apache Config File?

There is a way to do it, but it has slipped my mind, kinda sick. 3.3 comes with a VBSript that allows you to start MySQL with the server. I will try and remember or go back to the code, but for now, i need rest lol.

It is recommended that you wait till 3.3 which should be out the first or second week of December. It will come with PHP 5.1 which is what we have mainly been waiting for.

Download the package of PHP you are using from http://www.php.net, if you are using 3.2a, you are using PHP 5.0.4, for others, please check to make sure as i do not remember them of head here. Please download the compressed zip package for Windows and not the EXE. B. After download that same package from the php.net website, unextract it and look in the extension folder for php_t1lib.dll or anything similar... C. If there is something similar, please reply to this post so we can continue on how to help you help yourself, sounds cool. Thanks.

You are doing soemthing very wrong. I hope you are at least familiar with something that you are doing? The Uniform Server is a WAMPP Package that contains Apache, PHP, Perl, MySQL, & phpMyAdmin for the Windows OS. Its also lightweight and mobile. Currently our PPM module does not work so i do not think that the PPM you are using is ours. It must be from soemthing else or another installation, maybe Oracle, not too sure, not a fan of Oracle, I am trying to find our what is it you are really trying to do? Connect to the Oracle database using Perl? Is that it?

Every page on which server? The local server or the main server? Where are you access it from? localhost or ip address? If you are trying to access it from outside the local computer, delete the .htaccess in W:/www.

This is kinda confusing, sorry i didn't get back to you earlier, something is wrong with the email notifications and i haven't been receiving it for 3 days now so i did not know about new topics or replies. First question, where did you use PPM? On the Uniform Server? Before going to second, my quess is that you are trying to use Uniform Server to connect to you Oracle database right? Second question, check the W:/usr/lib for a file called oracle.pm If it is not there, download it from CPAN and place it there. I do not think it comes with our package. Thrid question, did Perl connect to the Oracle database before? As you said here "everything was working fine till l started the dbd-oracle download via the ppm"? Thanks.
