Yap, you got it. Our site was suspended cause i was late on the payment for my Reseller Hosting. I have had the issue resolved cause i usually pay by 5months+ and this time i plan on paying for 8months so the least they could do is bring it back up for me I am still looking into the phpMyAdmin issue, plan to test it when i get home in the afternoon and if it does not work, download a new copy to test and if that does not work, we may have to downgrade it to a old server... I know 1.6+ works perfect Please read more news at the Blog: http://blog.uniformserver.com

Oh BTW, are you related to Joomla? So we can have connections to the team in case someone needs help... like we do for phpBB (AlleyKat)

Thanks... and Good Luck

Umm you are confusing me... When you start the server with Start.bat, it creates a W:/ drive. The W:/ drive is a SUBST drive of the main and real drive the server is really on so whatever you edit and save on the W:/ drive is also being saved on the real drive.... If you have a W:/www/file.php, then you should have a /path/to/server/diskw/www/file.php file also.... If you dont, then something is wrong.... you might be working on another server... and not the main Uniform Server installation... What are you using to edit the pages? Is this a CMS?

This is what you should be using <User "bob"> Password "abc123" Mount / W:/www/site1 Allow / All </User>

If your server is on the USB stick and you are running that installation, whatever changes you make to the files/database are stored on that server/installation. You dont need to do anything unless you are doing something wrong.... Check the script you are using that it is also saving the files....

About the security alert, edit the Secure.pm file as it says you should and comment out the part it says you should in the file. Comment it out with '#' About the error, i believe this is caused by the script. Somehow they are checking to see if the directory is writeable but that does not work in Windows so all they will get is a NO but it is. Try doing this, make sure the /tmp file is there and if it is, create a file called log.log and try and see if it will work.. i do not know what file it creates in the session but i know other scripts work just perfect. You might have to contact the creators and tell them to tell you the way around this on a Windows Machine... I believe thats the problem, the fact that Chmoding is not on the Windows OS Please contact the developers and get back to us on whatever they say. Good Luck

Unless you created that user then you did it wrong. The default username/password is root/root, but you can create yours also.... You dont just give it a username/password, it has to be in the system and have access to that database... If you did create that user, then try using root/root just to test and see... If it is still saying that, take a screenshot of the problem and upload it so we can know which error it is, either from the script or the server itself...

hmmm, must be something from your PC. The new copy/install of phpMyAdmin still keep refreshing? -
The MySql username/passowrd is 'root' so i am guessing that $dbuname should be root along with the password field. Also make sure you created that database using phpMyAdmin.

Wordpress has an installaer so you can just install it the same way you would on a normal server. A. Download Wordpress B. Extract the file C. Copy over to the server, W:/www/blog D. Install it with the installer Good Luck

Download a new fresh copy of the server and see if it will work. If it doesn't, then you have to download and install a new copy of phpMyAdmin. -
The Uniform Server is written in English, under the default ChatSet. You may have to tweak the server someway... I'm still kindof confused cause it is suppose to show English. If you are trying to show Turkish Characters on you pages, then you have to chnage the server's ChatSet to something like UTF-8 and also save the page in UTF-8

Seems OK

Try removing www from the VHost code and test it. Just the mydomain.com
