If you are going to use an alternative drive letter, then you have to also change the drive letter in the config.inc.php file in the /home/admin/www/includes/ folder. To go to the Admin Panel, try http://localhost/apanel/ Part from that, everything should work perfect.

Then go to http://localhost and see if it works. Skype blocks port 80, so you may have to change that in the settings.

Do you use Skype or have IIS installed?

Guys, Register Globals is Off in Uniform Server, thats why. It can be dangerous to a rookie, especially if the code is not very well coded. Thats why we turned it off.

Edit the httpd.conf file. In the /usr/local/apache2/conf/ folder.

Well dimo, all what you said is what we plan on doing... All the mods are actually going to be made plugins, so you can also download them, patch it up and ready to roll... and as always, no registry dust, and keeping it simple and mobile. Another thing is we know some users that want the registry dust, so we are still thinking of having something like that on the side, depends... time.

Firefox does that because it is only connecting to localhost without a tld... but yeah, it needs to connect to http://localhost.
