  2. Well Ric you are right. But i think the version can be found on MySQL's website. Check their download achieve.
  3. We are probably going to discontinue that plugin and stick to Stunnel or something else.. something better and "open source" like us.
  4. Then those codes in the .htaccess must have been commented or something... hmmm
  5. If you are going to use an alternative drive letter, then you have to also change the drive letter in the config.inc.php file in the /home/admin/www/includes/ folder. To go to the Admin Panel, try http://localhost/apanel/ Part from that, everything should work perfect.
  6. Then go to http://localhost and see if it works. Skype blocks port 80, so you may have to change that in the settings.
  7. Do you use Skype or have IIS installed?
  8. Believe me... works everytime, lol.
  9. That was it... Md5 works too...
  10. Guys, Register Globals is Off in Uniform Server, thats why. It can be dangerous to a rookie, especially if the code is not very well coded. Thats why we turned it off.
  11. Edit the httpd.conf file. In the /usr/local/apache2/conf/ folder.
  12. Well dimo, all what you said is what we plan on doing... All the mods are actually going to be made plugins, so you can also download them, patch it up and ready to roll... and as always, no registry dust, and keeping it simple and mobile. Another thing is we know some users that want the registry dust, so we are still thinking of having something like that on the side, depends... time.
  13. It happens, And you know what, the problem could be the stupidest thing no one would have thought of...
  14. Looks like you have to go learn about webservers... Everything is already set unless there is something else you are trying to change...
  15. Firefox does that because it is only connecting to localhost without a tld... but yeah, it needs to connect to http://localhost.
  16. lol, its not that hard.. in fact easy and make its good to learn it cause its a popular wiki...
  17. A. Why do you have 2 apache directories? B. Are you using Uniform Server's SSL Plugin? Like Quick n Easy SSL, or Stunnel?
  18. @ Ric... thats ok... You do a great job and its a great site to dirrect No0bs too... lol. Did you get my message about the wiki... i am a simple guy and like things in order... and i was just wondering if we could use the main wiki... you know... so people dont have to be going here and there for info...
