We actually had this fixed, but our damn hosting provider messed with our .htaccss file.... so now i have to recode the mod_rewrite code.... Fixing it now

I have seen people install IgniteFusion, but not sure about the main CFM server. Does it even work with Apache?

Yeah, we have been trying to solve the problem also with our hosting provider. It seems as though there is a mess up with Register Globals... It is suppose to work when its On, but its not for some reason.

Try downloading a new copy and see if it works...

Just download a new copy and start over since you said you have nothing to lose. It could be anything, MySQL might have been already installed on that PC or something is causing the error or you do not have permission (as in you are under a limited account). Can't really tell cause that error seems odd, and since you say a new install works well, you might as well just do that.
