  1. The version of UniTray that was released is somehow not compatible with 3.3 and thats because 3.3 underwent some changes. The next version, 1.0, out of beta and alpha testing, should work better. Sorry.
  2. You are losing me... so you have two problems? can you restate them clearly?
  3. You can use MySQL. It should be able to that even more than that.
  4. I think you also have single copies of Apache, MySQL and PHP installed. If you have their single installtions installed, please uninstall them as they might interfere with Uniform Server. Go to C:/Windows and C:/Windows/System32 Look for a file called LIBMYSQL.DLL Delete it if you find it in both locations.... *By single install i meant you went on their websites and downloaded them each and installed them. If you didn't, reply....
  5. I know.... I saw another server using it and i just knew that i had to make one for Uniform Server and fast. Its simple, effective and works great and you dont have to be loading Admin Panel everytime anymore....
  6. It seems like theres is something missing, what OS are you using and did you set it up right?
  7. Go to /home/admin/www/includes/config.inc.php and change: $host = $_SERVER["HTTP_HOST"]; // Server - DO NOT CHANGE $server = "http://$host"; to: //$host = $_SERVER["HTTP_HOST"]; // Server - DO NOT CHANGE $server = "http://localhost:5000";
  8. Thanks, but thats Ok.... No need. I can guarantee you the one on my PC getting ready for release is far better... and ppl can do it themselves... its that easy. Just like Geico, "So Easy a Cavemen Can Use It" :)
  9. Is the W:/ drive created? Did you try going to http://localhost:port as i told you?
  10. You said you tried downloading a new copy? and did you restart your PC?
  11. A, never heard of Apache connecting to Akamai.... Please recheck, and how do you know it is connecting there... B, Yes sometimes, there might be 2 processes of Apache... C, Did you try restarting? D, What query are you trying to run? E, Did you install a single copy of MySQL or do you have an installtion of it on your PC?
  12. What do you men nothing happens... you do have to fully explain the problem? It does not load, it says errror? anything? Did you try going to http://localhost:port# ?
  13. If you are trying to add it to start menu, you will have to do that manually yourself. Just make a shortcut and put it there. About the problem, did you ever tried opening http://localhost ?
  14. Is portable Firefox now stable? As in the portable version? It might be some old mistakes or mabe some tweaks or settings... not exactly sure... Good Luck.
  15. Umm... thats what i do here with no problems.... Hope you did not turn Frame Off... is thats possible.... i really haven't seen a problem like this.... Sorry...
  16. Try sending genderboy a PM...
  17. Ok... i think you have to explain that again in a simple and clear method....
  18. You can't. Its not there yet.
  19. Check http://center.uniformserver.com Ric wrote something that can help you out there.... Deals with some Anti-Virus/Firewall.
  20. Where do you see nothing? I said check both links. The http://localhost and http://localhost/apanel/ and tell me what you see for both... Do you see nothing in both?
  21. ... thats a lot of stuff... do you work? i remember when i used to do all that.. can't now... too busy with school and damn work... more like a slave even cause i bearly have time to do anything, go to the movies or out... sucks But trying... After i get that new PC though i will MAKE time... believe me. I dont even care... And yeah... damn IPB! They suck... The promise when they first came out was to be free.
  22. Wow.. thats good :)
  23. Yes you will have problem starting Uniform Server when another server has that file in the C:/Windows or C:/Windows/System32 folder. The reason it should not be there is because of Uniform Server's portability. It is already in the Uniform Server Directory and thats where Uniform Server will be lookingo for it when it's started. If you try placing the one in that folder into the PHP folder of that server, and try starting it to see if it will work.
