  1. Wow.... learning something new everyday.. seems like it is only unsafe for IIS LOL
  2. The IP you used to post this topic refers to Google... hmm... "...out of ideas..."
  3. Hmm.. It could be a hacker or a bot. It may also not be it if it is occuring from different IPs. If it is happening from different IPs, then it is not a hacker, but could be a search bot or something like that...
  4. Most of the pages have been put under protection so that this will not happen again. Thanks
  5. Seems like someone modified the Wiki System. The person changed the topic: What software does Uniform Server include? to What SADAsoftware does Uniform Server include? The person's IP address is 62.253.96.40 and if the person purposely did this, they will be banned from the whole entire website!

  10. No problem It helps other people...
  11. No Problem, but i may not be able to do it until this weekend when i get home. Where i am now, they use modem so i will be tieing up the phone line.
  12. Just test it blank and if it doesn't work, reply and i will test it to see what you have to do Try localhost:80 also if it doesn't work You also can't set permissions on Windows so no need for that Thanks
  13. I do... I get spammed by it and are you saying it works when you activate the module? Thanks "ain't i good?" LOL
  14. Trying adding this mod to Apache and test it to see if it works Make sure that you put this in the modules folder and also activate it in the httpd.conf file. mod_vhost_alias.so
  15. I think i figured it out. I do not think that the uniform server has the vhost module included....
  16. It seems like the problem is from the file. What file are you using? You are suppose to be using the go_pear.php file... I have attched it to this post... use this file to install PEAR [EDIT] I have removed the file
  17. hmm... I wonder what is causing this problems. Can you try and test version 3.1 and see if it works. I want tomake sure that it is not the new start and stop system. If 3.1 doesn't work also, then the problem is with your PC or something blocking port 80... but please, try and see if 3.1 works and tell me... Thanks
  18. Does it stay or does it leave... the W:/ dirve
  19. I am sorry if i already asked you this question, but i am also kind of confused with 3 help in 1 topic which is what i was trying to avoid since everyone can start a topic of their own... Does the W:/ drive show up? Can you ping localhost:80 and localhost and tell me what happens on both pings or make a screenshot of both pings... Thanks.
  20. I will look into that more.... did you try testing it with a real domain on the Uniform Server also.... just so we know that localhost is not the problem... I would love it if you cn test it on the Uniform Server with a real domain so that i can narrow things down without having to do much and delaying stuffs Thanks
  21. That is because it has not yet been released. I was releasing them all today when suddenly, the release system went wacko on me for some reason...
  22. Delete it from the httpd.conf file. It should be at the very buttom of the file
  23. The problem is not with the router. If you cannot connect to localhost and the W:/ drive is not showing, that has nothing to do with the router. Just tell me what happens when you ping localhost and localhost:80
  24. That is because localhost is not a real domain... i think
  25. Try pinging port 80.
