  1. Forget MrX and just do as i said u should do.
  2. This is mine The best XP Desktop ever..
  3. Well, since no one has thought to start an off topic discussion, i thought of the best first off topic thread to post. A desktop competition.. Winner gets titled as the Desktop King in the title section of the forum. Where it says "Project Developer" for mine. Take a screenshot of ur desktop, upload it to any website an attach the link to it. You can also upload it here but please do not just put it as an image or i will kill u. Attach it and not just put the img src tags in the thread! Your things will be rated by everyone and not me! Skins, themes, and so on.. Let the rumble begin
  4. That error shows either because you are not viewing the admin panel from localhost. There is no link so it is not obvious  You have to edit the secure.pm file in /home/admin/cgi/secure.pm and comment it/follow the instruction in the file if you still receive an error after connecting from localhost. The secure.pm was kind of buggy but has been fixed for 3.3
  5. That is for all u die hard command line programmers. Frank, the my-small.cnf file is the MySQL file. Windows named it a speed dialer because of the extension but that does not mean anything. You have to open it with notepad or wordpad and from there you can edit the file.

  8. Leave the guy alone and let him take his time.. he has a life unlike you
  9. lol.. The Uniform Server Drive is a SUBST drivbe and not a real drive! It only uses the image of whatever drive it is on and that is why it has the same size and name as the drive it is installed on  Join us in the IRC Channel if u want by clicking Live IRC on top...
  10. No ... The next version should be out soon but i do not know when cause we are really busy at this time
  11. lol... I got it to work  and i used it for a while until i found no use for it Planned to make it a plugin but also discarded it because it is easy to install...
  12. Well this is also another one of your faults if i can lay blame on you  You installed Apache, the binary and probably also PHP and doing this causes problems. You canot run 2 servers at the same time. You cannot have 2 Apache installation at the same time also You have to uninstall the Apache you installed on that PC and also PHP if you installed it. After uninstalltion, search your computer for this file: LIBMYSQL.dll Search for it in the C:/Windows and C:/Windows/System32 They cause problems between 2 installations of Apache! If you find the file in any other part of your computer other than the directory where you installed Uniform Server on, then delete it! That should be it Good luck!
  13. A. I have moved your topic to the right forum and UniTray is a plugin. B. Read This: http://forum.uniformserver.com/index.php?showtopic=49 C. The MySQL and Apache sub section of the UniTray Plugin is for Services. It is grayed out because Uniform Server is not installed as a service on your PC. D. We are currently working on it and will be adding the MySQL start and stop part on the next release.
  14. lol... That is the only way possible, but i believe that MySQL Administrator should be able to do that.
  15. Well friend, this is your lucky day  Yes it is possible to rename the drive letter from W:/ to another. There used to be a vbscript that does thjat but it was removed from 3.2. To change the drive letter, you have to edit the Start.bat and rename where it says "W" to another letter. I believe it is a variable called disk...
  16. No way for phpMyAdmin. Too big nd it wn't work cause of the maximum execution time/size.
  17. When version 3.3 is finished, you should test it to see if it will work.
  18. Why should he install linux when Uniform Server is only on windows?

  22. You ass MrX  Well, sorry about that Madkat.. i have been kind of busy and off lately cause i have to get ready for prom and graduation and i am worried about where i would be in 3 months cause i have no idea... Since MrX has made it clear, i now know that you are not using 3.2 but 3.1. Also, it is true that the W:/ drive is not closing. Just read the error. Make a new document called SStop.bat and put this code in there: : Name: Make Drive File : Created By: The Uniform Server Development Team : Edited Last By: Olajide Olaolorun (empirex) : Comment: Make a drive to use with the new Service Plugin. : To Developers: Still under development. @echo off set Disk=%1 IF "%Disk%"=="" set Disk=W echo Killing the "S:" drive for the Service Plugin subst %Disk%: /D echo Killed the "S:" drive for the Service Plugin pause :end That should kill the drive i hope, unless your situation is real bad. If it kills the W:/ drive then you should be able to restart the server. Also, I believe 3.1 came with the VBS script that allows you to chose a drive letter, doesn't it? Well... hope this helps.... BTW: MrX, flooding was made for people like you
