Sometimes you have to uninstall the anti-virus software to make sure.... they still normally block port 80 even with it Off.. Does any other page work? any http://localhost/test.html or .php or any other page at all?

Add you IP address to the no-ip thing. Go to whatismyip.com to get your ip. After that, if you use a router, reply and i will tell you how to set it up. Thanks

Wait... sorry forgot to tell you to also ping the server. Try pinging it when the server is off (..? don't even work so no matter)... use ping localhost in the command prompt.

To be on the safe side, we have made a few modifications to the forum: First, we disallowed guest posts. We are sorry if you feel annoyed by this, but we had to. The purpose of using this forum rather than the SF forum is because of the new advance features, and we want to be able to know who is asking what so that we can help you faster without problems. We promise that you would not need to register for anything else on the Uniform Server website (well, unless things change according to the plan.) The member database would be used as the main member database for all other things we do, and since you don't need to re-register for anything, you do not need to worry. The member database will also be used for the new Beta Center coming up for Beta Testers and all other things we have planned. Thanks and sorry for the inconvinence.

Very soon, we will be setting up a Beta Center for beta users and also an application and other needed things so watch out for that also... The Beta Center will make it easy for Beta Testers to download things and also do toher things It will or may be also integrated into the forum member system so we do not need you to re-register.

Let me ask you these questions so i can help you troubleshoot: A. Do you have Skype installed? B. Do you have an Anti-Virus Software Installed? C. Is your Anti-Virus Software blocking port 80? D. Do you have a drive on your PC already named W:/? E. Do you have any other programs that might be using or blocking port 80? F. Do you have a drive named W:/? G. What OS is your computer running? H. What error does it bring up? Please answer this questions so that we will be able to narrow down the problem. Thanks

We are currently working on fixing bugs and also shrinking the server down to about 4?MB cause it is like 5MB now since phpMyAdmin and MySQL 4.1.X is installed and those are big packages...

hmm... That does not happen to me (The XML Error)... I will look into it tomorrow at school.... By the way.. XML is tags... to view an RSS Feed, you need a client like Feed Demon or Rage for Firefox RSS shows the code when viewed with IE but when viewed with a feed client, it shows it well. I thought you should know that already :)
