What OS are you using, and please, next time, start your own topic so we can know who is who and what help we give... Also, did you also install Apache2Triad? And do you have Skype Installed? Or anything using Port 80? The address hosuld also be http://localhost Is the W:/ drive also created?

There is a bug with that security system. To block people, except localhost, try using the .htaccess file to do that. Don't worry, you are safe... use the .htacess for extra protection also Just put this: Order Deny,Allow Deny from all Allow from 127.0.0.1

Alleykat's script works perfect. Try it... but i do think that Apache has aproblem with creating VHost on localhost cause it only redirects you to the /www/ folder as you stated

Remove the phpMyAdmin location address in the config.ini.php file and set the error for it, (right under it) to be TRUE instead of FALSE. It should automatically detect the location itself. Try that and tell me if it works.... but the Beta Version has been known to have a few bugs like the errors showing or not showing anything at all...

Can you take a screenshot of the error page on IE and also the error in the CMD window if there is any... BTW: I also use cable broadand, but that should not be a problem if it won't even load from localhost....

By the way, did you ever get the VHost script AlleyKat was talkign about to work the way it is suppose too... I tried it but did not work well.. just referred me to the default /www/ even though the httpd.conf was chnaged and updated..... Did you try it with a domain also?

nah... That was the Admin Panel 2.0 I am currently working on the Lite version of it to release with 3.3 as soon as Taras fixes the Process32 bug. There will be no delay whatsoever... The Admin Panel is also still in development and no one has it yet.

Damn.. took me 2hrs to get it setup with the new Amdin Panel. Adding the language system integration and removing unneeded things i know of... (while watching T.V.)

I promise nothing will happen to your computer, especially not caused by Uniform Server. Uniform Server does not mess with anything like the Registry or System Files so you are safe

No. Once you chnage it to the IP it should work. Did you access it with the IP also? Sometimes this kind of error also happens in the Beta version.... but it also works fine after a retry... About the user thing, i know it is possible but i never did really look into it.... i will try and find the info for you...
