Hello! I'm trying to install Drupal 10 on UniServerZ. Installation is done using Composer. I downloaded composer to the UniServerZ and UniServerZ/bin folder, but it is not called normally from the Server Panel and does not want to load Drupal 10. How do I install Composer correctly and start installing Drupal 10. Sincerely, Vladimir.

Hey folks, I’m running into a really odd situation that I can’t figure out. I have Uniform Server set up on Windows 11, and everything works perfectly when I use just one site. But the moment I add a second virtual host, all of my sites, including the first one that was working, start redirecting to the wrong document root. For example, I added a new host pointing to C:/UniServerZ/www/project2, but somehow both localhost/project1 and localhost/project2 now load the same files from project2. Even stranger, if I restart the server a couple of times, it sometimes flips, and both hosts point back to project1 instead. The Apache config looks normal to me, and I double-c…

Hello there, I have been following a program to allow me to develop Wordpress themes on my desktop. I've been given instruction to install uniform server which I have and was asked to install wordpress files in the www folder in uniform which I've done. I configured the wp-config php file. I was told to to to http://localhost/wordpress to install wordpress and I keep getting a 404 not found. What am I doing wrong if anything? I've gone back over my steps a half dozen times to make sure I did them correctly and could have still missed something. I have not used Uniform Server in a while. I am presently using PHP Version 5.6.19. I have defined a "<Virtual Host>" with the name, "laptop-test-server". It appears to be properly recognized. If I then open a PHP file on the test server with the URL "laptop-test-server/include/somePHPfile.php", I get the following error message: Forbidden You don't have permission to access /include/somePHPfile.php But if I open that same PHP file on the test server with the URL "localhost/include/somePHPfile.php", it works fine. Similarly, if I open it with the URL "127.0.0.1/include/somePHPfile.php", it also works fine. Can someone point me in the direction to…

Hi, I am running Uniform Server ZeroXIII - 13.3.2 portable under Windows 10 64bit. I am unable to get a php script or file to run from within an HTML file. See HTLM file, <html> <body> <p>First try with php:</p> <?php echo "My first PHP script!"; ?> </body> </html> When the file is run I get ‘First try with php’ come up but no "My first PHP script!" and no error message. Various web sites talk about creating a file called .htaccess with the following line, ‘AddType application/x-httpd-php .html .htm’ and putting in the website root directory. i suggest to edit index.php in the root folder www to hide index.php from the list of server php files. edit the line 75 to be: if (strtolower(strrchr($file, '.'))==".php" && $file!="index.php"){ and add link to splash page to show server details. best wishes

Hello, I have been using xampp and Extjs 4 for most of my projects. But whn I moved my project from xampp 1.8 to uniserver, all the icons in my Extjs4 app dispappear and even when firebug in turned on, I dont get any error messages. Quick assistance on this issue will be highly appreciated.

I just switched from XAMPP to uniform server today. I'm running the same scripts, without any modification. This: $sql = "SELECT * FROM rooms WHERE date = '$year/$month/$day' ORDER BY roomNb";works fine. Under XAMPP it returned the room numbers ordered from 1 to X. Under uniform server I got: 9 10 11 12 14 8 7 6 5 4 3 2 1Any ideas? Thanks for your time, Alex

I am using US on a USB. I want to run the portableapps version of Firefox because of all the bookmarks and changes that I have made to my browser. I do not want to open the default browser on the computer. Is there a way to force US to open my portableapps browser instead of the default browser? I really appreciate any help. Thanks.

Wow guys, I'm not even sure I'm in the right forum? I've created an Excel workbook in mydocuments that I'd like to link to tables in my D: drive UniServer database tables. The Excel documentation points out that you can add a 'Secure Location' to link to but only offers the typical Microsoft database types including 'Oracle' and I was wondering if my database is compatible with those? If not then the documentation points out that you can add a database type. So I need to find out what type of database phpadmin creates and am not sure 'myisam' etc. is applicable. Any advice or direction greatly appreciated.

I've been trying to get this neat little RSS Scroller to function but even the demo is giving me problems: www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamicindex17/rsspausescroller I have the scroller formatted, positioned and ready in the site and it looks great, the problem is the only way I could get it to fetch the feed was to link to the "scrollerbridge.php" off dynamicdrive.com(I'm pretty sure they wont allow that, plus it only lets you use the domains listed in the demo), with everything else running from the default directory. Hi Guys, It's been a long time for me that I was here. Now I want to make a miniserve with ImpressCMS pre-installed. I have did this once in the past I think it was in 2008/9. But ImpressCMS has changed a lot but also US has made big steps forward. So is it posible to just copy pased the new files overwriting the older ones? I guess not. But is there someone that can take me on this journey making a miniserver with ImpressCMS and the latest US version. By the way I'm not a coder just a user that wants to give someting back to the ImpressCMS community.
