Plug-Ins Support

I do have some requirements for PostgreSQL database. Is there any paln to integrate this in Uniform Server?

I have installed the plugins it seems to work. But when i try to upload files using FileZilla it does seems to work but the file is not completely uploaded and the log files shows it uploaded succesfully which shouldnt happen. And causes my uploads to retry many times. Can someone give me a guide of what is happening here and how to solve? Thanks.

Where is the Tomcat plug-in download? The link "Download" for Tomcat 5 at http://www.uniformserver.com/index.php?us=plugins has target http://www.uniformserver.com/index.php?us=plugins# and so just take one back to the same page, rather than give access to a new page (at SourceForge?) from which the file can actually be downloaded!

I just installed the Unifrom server and the unitray plugin. Got the PHP test page working. When i right click on the unitray icon and go the Mysql and Apache the options to stop, start, pauze and restart are grayed out. And when I hover over the icon it says none of 2 services running, while I can access phpmyadmin and run mysql server from the uniform server admin page ?? Why is this ? What am I doing wrong or what did i forget?

a 'quick and dirty' php version switcher for uniform server 3.2 and the php4 'plugin' for it, as downloaded 7 may 05. a friend needed an easy to install wamp installation with php4, so i made a little bat to switch php versions. it acts like a toggle and does check to make sure everything's where it's expected to be before it runs. the attached zip contains all the new files and modified httpd.conf. it maintains directory structure from uniform server's root (the parent directory of diskw), so be careful not to overwrite your httpd.conf if you've changed it yourself...... tested and works for me on winxp pro sp2.. however, as always, ymmv. basically you make a on…

hello, and i want to state that every time when i had tried to install ma pear plugin it starts downloading and goes to 100% but the installation progress bar hangs up to 70% n shows some files completed but with an error in W:\home\admin\www\plugins\pear\go_pear.php (line668).. I've been playing with the Uniform Server, and it's working great so far. I do have a question, though. Is there a method for automatically starting STunnel when the server starts? I'd like to have it start up right away without having to go to the "plugins/Stunnel-4.05/index.html" page and clicking on the cgi link.

I can't click on some options of unitray, I can't start Apache or My SQL. I re-installed the whole ting but it didn't help help?

If you got this plugin fresh downloaded, you will not be able to start the Server from this. So i was going into the .ini and found a simple 'bug': Action: run; FileName: "%USRoot%\Start.bat"; ShowCmd: hidden; Flags: waituntilterminated just simply replace with this: Action: run; FileName: "%USRoot%\Server_Start.bat"; ShowCmd: hidden; Flags: waituntilterminated or rename the Server_Start.bat into Start.bat

I currently have 5 "sites" hosted on the Uniform Server and am using the Apache virtual host mod. They are set up as W:/www/site1, W:/www/site 2, etc. At the moment, I'm able to (via slim ftp) FTP into the Uniform Server, and see all of the folders, per the default config in SlimFTP. Sorry guys, bit of a dumb question... Is there a way of tweaking UniTray so the UniServer starts automatically when UniTray is loaded - having to start UniTray and then start UniServer is seems a little odd, why would you be running UniTray without UniServer? 8-) Cheers Couch Potatoe

Hello, I'm writing a FTP automated server around Quick'n Easy FTP server, and, i would need to dynamically update the USERS.XML file via code. But for that to work i would need to know what algorithm has been used to encrypt (or hash) the password. I know it's not md5, And I thought for a while it was something like : CryptedletterN=(StringLenght$+letterN+N) for N=0 to (StringLenght$-1) , but it seems a bit more twisted. Anybody using STunnel plugin, or using SSL in php code? Testing php code that requires openSSL. Thought STunnel would do the trick but I can not get it to work. Can anyone help?

According to the status page, But on the plugin download page the link still doesn't work. It just loads the same page in a new window. Is it finished but not released yet?
