Never heard of iptables.... But the router is also a good way but what use is it when port 80 is open and being refered to a pc on the router...? It is stil the same as an open port 80 linked to the net without a router..

I believe the problem has been fixed, but also to make a point on your reply, We do not have a Start.exe but a Start.bat and the .bat is not a windows command file but a batch file. We use it to start the server because it is much easier and because of size. Making a .exe would be about 200KB when the .bat is only 1KB, so what is the point....?

I am confused. Your question is not fully explained.... If you want to run 2 phpBB installations, yes you can. You can put both of them in a folder. They do not have to be in the main W:/www/ folder. 1 can be in W:/www/phpbb1/ and the other in W:/www/phpbb2/ You can also have 2 databases for each of them and you can switch between databases for both of them if they are the same version of phpBB. You also have to beware of the fact of installed mods and hacks.

lol.. i have 4 desktops, and that is just one of them... i use the Destop Powertoy fromn MS that lets me change from one to the other.... I also have more programs that are hidden in the start menu and believe me, they fill up the whole screen... :angry:

Find this files and delete them: In C:/ find: php.ini In C:/Windows or C:/Windows/System32 find: libmysql.dll Uninstall any other version of PHP on your computer as you cannot run 2 PHP at the same time unless using them as module/cgi Reply if you still get any error...
