If you get any errors or problem that might come from the server side, feel free to submit a thread to the support forum because i will not know... Thanks
-
Yes, it will be in the Pro Version Of The Admin Panel as soon as i get it

On your router, you will need to open port 80 to go to that computer or PC the Uniform Server is on. What kind of router do you use?

I will try and write the tutorial again. It used to be in the old "new" forum but that went down after my host screwed us.... Thanks

I think the logo tells the story of a unfiorm server which is clean and neat, and also easy to use? And the Uniform Server is not green, but somewhat purple. The old forum was green but the uniform Server color is actually a kind of purple color... the same we used for the website and the logo Thanks

Yes, you should Thanks

Currently i am working hard to get about $50-100 to sponsor a competiton. The competion will have differnet categories so that there is no cheating and also for fairness and it will have to do with the server. Here is what i have so far: Submit your: Mod Version Of Admin Panel User-Made Plugin Mod Version Of The Uniform Server Or launch a "Spread the Word" campaign. For the spread the word campaign, each user will get a tracker code so we can track who referred who and how many people are referred. I do not like to collect money from people, especially on the internet so there might be no donating or if you do want to, you may have to send the money to the winner directly.... (? i don't have a PayPal Account so....)... When i come up with the money i will post it in the news/announcement forum. Please feel free to reply if you think it is a good or bad idea...

So did you search your computer for the libmysql.dll file? and also for the php.ini file? I do not think that anything proxy should disturb your computer though it might but i do not think so.... Thanks
-
Thanks Tweed... the plugin will be released this weekend when i get home.

Yes, thats a fact. I am still working on the banner... but the logo will be the same... (what do you think.. or what do you think is wrong with the logo? like to hear more...) Also, yes the website is based on web standrads and though most are not yet into it.. it is becoming big and necessary.... many web designers of today design web standard websites.... its a fact.... and W3C may not seem popular to some, they are popular to those who are really into webdesign Well like to hear more from you about the logo though... Thanks

Well first of all, please if you have an SF ID, add it to your profile so we can recognize you from the forum if you were ever there... SF means SourceForge.Net for those who do not know Second, Please go to the homepage and look under the Ratings to rate our program at Hotscripts or SoftPedia. Thanks

K.... but could you send it to my email address cause i normally use a web based client that does not support DCC send
-
O.K.... I thought that there was something wrong with it... i never did actually test it with a RSS Client

Hmmmm.... do you know if it left any kind of file or registry dust on your PC?.... search for a libmysql.dll file, if you find it in any other directory other than that of The Uniform Server delete it. Also search for the php.ini file... they cause errors when they are elsewhere.... Also check to see if it left a registry dust... like a Apache service or MySQL service dust..? I think it should have delete everything but not too sure...

Sorry, not much of a PHPBB expert. I used it once when i was testing out which is best but prefered IPB for some reason unknown? Though i hate them now for back stabbing us and removing the free version. Someone had to buy this one for us.... :)

I will look into that. I believe i turned off some settings but do not know if the Output Buffering was one of them. Thanks BTW: I also get the same problem sometimes
-
I am confused? are you using our own copy or their own? Also, do you think that their copy might have left a libmysql.dll file on your PC. Also, when you pinged localhost, was the server off. It is was off, then something else is using port 80 because pinging port 80 when the server is off is suppose to give you 4 lost packets. Search your computer your to find a libmysql.dll file anywhere but in the directory where the Uniform Server is located. If you find it in any other directory, delete it. It is also sometimes known to cause problems. By the way, the other server you said you where using... did they give credit to The Uniform Server?

First time i ever hearc of 580 Error.... Never happened before. And since all other pages are not working i can guess that the server is not starting at all.... Yes, try uninstalling it... maybe it is the problem... they have been known to cause problems with the server.... If it isn't, reply and i will look into this further.... BTW: Have you ever installed apache, php, or mysql themselves?
-
O.K. It seems as if it has already been included in versions of PHP 5 Read Here for more information. It says that it has been included in PHP so no need for the extionsion. If you are using 3.1 or less, reply and i will tell you how to install it for PHP 4
