This should not be happening... It only happens when the wrong version of the extensions are installed or when they are not... Did you by any chance upgrade your PHP by yourself... If not, tell me everything you have done since the installation.. Also try and download a fresh copy and test it to see if it will work... Also please make sure you do not have any PHP/MySQL installtions because they also do harm to other installtions like that of Uniform Server... Search for this file: LIBMYSQL.DLL in the C:/windows or C:/windows/System32 folder... If you find it there delete it.

It is easy to install and i don't think it needs much of anything.. Just install it to your computer and when you reach the point where it asks you to install a new version of MySQL say no and it should ask which MySQL installtion to use, it is there that you start the server and point it to W:/usr/local/mysql/ and everything should be OK... If you need further help just start a new support thread.

Then it should work... Did you make any modifications to phpMyAdmin and are u using the copy that came with the server? Did you make any modifications to the php.ini file also?

Nah.. if MySQL was not started it will give a connection error to MySQL and not the extension error... this is my first time of hearing that error also... hmm

Did you delete the MySQL extension in the /usr/local/php/extentions/ folder? Check there to see if it is there.. Do you have another instalation of PHP or MySQL on your PC also?

Yeah, the problem is probably with permission... You may not have the permission to run the file or create a SUBST drive.... You can also join us at the IRC Channel by clicking Live IRC on top of the page

Here is a little troubleshooting for you.... After installing XP SP2, did you turn on IIS, you have to make sure IIS is not installed. Also, do you have a drive on your PC already named W:? Hmmm... you said you do not have permission to use SUBST, this can also be the problem..... If you do not have permission for it, it will not be able to make the drive... I will run a test on a test machine to see if it will work under a restricted user account...

I do not know where you got your own version of the code from but i am absolutly sure that it is buggy and will never work because you do not have most of the needed things set. Put that code in the httpd.conf file, just that code alone, nothing added and test it... make sure the domain is also pointing to the server or edit your windows http file to redirect all calls to localhost...

It is a bug that is affecting it.. it has been fixed for 3.3 Admin Panel 2.0

Well the .exe is what we are using and not all .exe files have a registry setting in them We are using the NSIS installer so it can automatically install everything for you and add the settings to the httpd.conf file or whereever it needs... The .zip is also a must and will be there just as we have a .exe and .zip for the main server distribution....

If you have mod_vhost_alias activated with the module in the Apache Module folder, it is suppose to work. Here is what i want you tod o to ensure i am able to help you right, i want you to paste the vhost setting here from the httpd.conf file. From what i understand you are trying to make a vhost but it redirects to the W:/www/ folder so you put PHP file there to redirect to W:/www/aa/, am i right? Thanks
