  1. lol... When you start the computer, some allow you to enter setup by pressing Del, if yours does, you may be able to change it in there. Check for it in all the settings, mostly PnP Setting... Mine is called Modem Sound.. yours may be too...
  2. 3.2 & 3.2a might not work on your Win95 box, but 3.1 is suppose to work. If you get that connection error, wait 5-10 seconds and then enter http://localhost into the address bar and hit enter... If that does not work, check to see if there is a W:/ drive in My Computer and then post here with what happened and if the W:/ drive is there.

  4. After starting the server, is there a W:/ drive in My Computer? Did you uninstall the single installations of PHP and Apache on your PC? What happens after the 10 seconds when you enter http://localhost? and is the W:/ drive still there?

  6. Yes you can... You have to subscribe to it to receive notifications.... About the Firefox problem, thats new and never happened.
  7. What OS are you using? and did you get a error from Start.bat? If not, the server is suppose to work.
  8. What OS are you using?
  9. Uninstall both the current PHP and Apache installation using Control Panel and then go to C:/Windows and C:/Windows/System32 and delete LIBMYSQL.DLL, if found.
  10. On the computer at work, it seems like the server starts, but does not connect to MySQL with the new port. All we have to do is find what we are missing. Did you check the C:/, C:/Windows for any file named my.ini or my.cnf or related namings like my-large, my-small? Also check C:/Windows and C:/Windows/System32 for LIBMYSQL.DLL, the file is always left behind by PHP and MySQL single installations.
  11. Hey REFFER, what should i call the language? Portuguese? Thanks

  13. A. If you have a single installation of PHP or MySQL, it will screw things up! B. Have patience, after starting the server with Start.bat, and the redirect.php page loads, wait 10 secs and enter http://localhost in the address bar and see if that will load... takes a while for it to load on some PCs. C. What OS are you using? Do you get any error upon clicking Start.bat?

  15. It really doesn't matter, if the script does not work with MySQL then it wont work on the server. Check to make sure that it uses MySQL rather than Berkley DB which is not supported on Uniform Server. Thanks... BTW: There are other scripts you can use that can work? Whats the name of the one you are using?
  16. No. That is made by your computer. To disable it, you have to go inside the Setup at Startup, if the option is available for your computer. Hmm.. in 3.2, it should only happen when the server has been stopped and someone is still trying to stop it after it has already been stopped.
  17. Just remove this: ENGINE = MYISAM DEFAULT CHARSET = latin1 Might not be of use on your server's version
  18. k, i have attached the file that is needed. You need to download it to the W:/usr/lib/ folder. Make sure to unzip it first. The bad news is that it still might not work. Why? Cause that script, that file is a connector to the Berkley DB which we do not use/not integrated into Uniform Server. Try it, if it works Great DB_File.zip
  19. Men, you really messed up big time. Big Time! Uninstall any single installations of PHP, MySQL, and Apache. Go to C:/Windows and C:/Windows/System32 and delete LIBMYSQL.DLL, if you find it there. If there is registry, its not from us and there should not be after uninstall of single installations. BTW: What do you click in the admin panel that crashes the system? Or is it all the links that crashes it?
  20. Yes, we need everything. We currently have: 1. English 2. Danish 3. Chinese
  21. Thanks t1234 BTW: Did you edit it and remove the line 65? ('nav-en' => 'English',) Thanks again.

  23. The apache log file does not say anything that seems to be out of bound?... When you said since upgrading? Did you upgrade the server package yourself or upgraded to a new version like 3.2a? And when you upgraded, how did you upgrade? did you just replace/overwrite everything?
  24. Yes it is Go to www.whatismyip.com and get you ip. You may have to remove the .htaccess file in the W:/home/admin/www/ folder. Note that removing it will make your server unsafe/secure cause people will be able to enter the Admin Panel and mess with it After getting your ip, go to http://your-ip/a/phpMyAdmin-address A better choice is downloading and installing a new version of phpMyAdmin to the W:/www/ folder
