Sorry - back again: now I fixed the trouble with language, and have used the database once, with no problem. Next time:#1045 - Access denied for user 'root'@'localhost' (using password: YES). How can I get in? Any suggestions out there? I don´t know where to change these passwords, if nescessary. Very annoying, thiought it was all right.... regards, Lone

Dear All whenever i do a backup to my database using the backup utiliy in phpadmin after a couple of days , my backup doesnt show in the "import" tab and i also had a backup file in another place , when i tried to put in the directory to import , it did not show up to import tab

when i click on phpMyAdmin i get the following error: #2003 - The server is not responding, i disabled my firewall and it worked once but it hasnt worked since and it always comes up with that error. i checked to make sure mysql is running and it is so something has gone terribly wrong, PLS HELP ME

I want to change the password for MySQL, but can not get access to phpMyAdmin. Seems that some files are missing?? Helpful suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Hi, I just downloaded an tried to upgrade to 3.2a (i've been using 3.2 for a long time without any problem) I got this error when I tried to start the MySql server. Security alert! Possible attack HTTP_REFERER is not localhost. but ''. (to disable this warning go: /home/admin/CGI/Secure.pm) Is there any changes to the way you start MySql? ( And I also noticed you still use the conf setting with : Register Globals On ... WHY? And this with output buffering. Hi all I have just downloaded US 3.3 and I must say it looks great. I was just wondering why there isn't' an option to create a table in MySQL using PHPADMIN for a InnoDB storage type? I use InnoDB all the time for my tables in MySQL but, I can't seem to create one using PHPadmin............. Any ideas??

Is there a way to allow access to phpmyadmin from any pc instead of just the localhost? Besides the obivous of installing another copy in a path that any other PC can access. I just installed the 3.3 version of uniformserver and love it so far! There are some major cool improvements.

I tried to use phpMyAdmin to import a database I have exported. It is in the form of SQL. The table and fields setup ok, but no data was entered so I pasted only the insert into lines from the text file into the SQL window. Only the first instruction runs. How can I get all this data impoted without cutting and pasting every single insert command into the SQL window one at a time?

In the MySql admin I created a database. Then in Php I created a table. When I select that database and then click on the table name the page that comes up keeps 'refreshing' (i guess) without end. It brings up a few table headings and then blanks the sceeen and appears to start over. It never does work.. Any idea how I can fid this?

I have tried 2 solutions given on this forum editing config-inc.php for the config of phpmyadmin editing mysql_password so its empty(I normally dont install with a password- but root was originally in this file now set to nothing.) I think it would be quicker to reinstall the server than do the steps of going into SSH for mysql routine for resetting master password. And I dont think I forgot the password. is there something im missing. The login for phpmadmin is the same as fr the daabase no? thanks mojito

Even if Mambo have a similar support application (that's MSAS), I'm still using the uniserver. It's simply clever and very light. Hello, uhmm, Sir. i have downloaded your package Uniserver3.2 and have followd the complete instructions on how i do i set it up on my home PC using a Windows XP professional edition. however, as sson as i have start all the necessary things that needs to get my server up, it seems that i cant use my phpMyAdmin..i have tried using different browser for it, because it might have caused some browser bugs that prohibits me on viewing properly my phpMyAdmin.. Hi, Im helping a friend install uniserver 3.2 or 3.1.1 as it says on admin panel... um he's got multiple users for mysql. when you go into phpmyadmin, it automatically opens it up as root...how do you get it so every time you go into it, it pops up with login form... Also, he has errors...like... theres about 30 of these when u click on a table from a database...all from different lines..any ideas? config.inc.php was changed to his ip not localhost...i have a feeling theres multiple places in that file to change??? Hi I need some help here, i need to know what the password is, and how to change it on the server...it would be nice if you had a simple script to change it like xampp do. I need to know how to do this asap, as i need to run a php tracker...as each time the thing runs it refuses to connect to the database no doubt because its asking for the user name, of which as i said i dont know what it is.

basicly everything works ok on UniServer3_2 but for the fact that phpMyAdmin-2.6.0-beta2 won't fire up from the \a\index.html page link.
