change www folder location

Id like to know if its possible to change the www browsable localhost directory path to something closer to the root, im going to organise my work inside the www directory so i dont have to copy across for testing the scripts etc

I will have photoshop work and flash work etc and i would like that in the www folder to keep things in one place.

I want to move it on my hard disk for backing up as I want to store graphics and other related work files in a drive closer to c:/ that is cleaner and will save a lot of uneccessary clicks. :)

Thanks

There is, but it might not be the best option for you as it might mess the whole server up. It can be changed in the httpd.conf file and also must be changed in the php.ini file.
