s1r Posted October 2, 2012 Report Share Posted October 2, 2012 Hello , i managed to get the apache and Mysql working and when i came to install the ftp plugin it did go pretty smooth i have port forwarded the port 21 and created an inbound rule in windows firewall for port 21 and restarted computer.Connection log for FTP program FilezillaStatus: Connection established, waiting for welcome message... Response: 220 Welcome to Team Ftp Command: USER s1r Response: 331 Password required for s1r Command: PASS ********* Response: 230 User successfully logged in. Status: Connected Status: Retrieving directory listing... Command: PWD Response: 257 "/" is current directory. Command: TYPE I Response: 200 Type set to BINARY Command: PASV Response: 227 Entering Passive Mode (xx,xx,xxx,xxx,x,x) Command: LIST Response: 150 Opening ASCII mode data connection for directory list. Response: 421 Failed to create data connection socket. Error: Failed to retrieve directory listing I wonder whats wrong and how to fix it? In fact, the whole Filezilla server can be installed separately. This is a real good way to test the operation on your system. Go to their site for more info. You can also search for "filezilla server setup" and look at some of the thousands of tutorials. Since you don't mention what version of The Uniform Server you're using I can't say even if the plugin will work properly with that version.
