I can enable the security, but what directory should I allow from all, and what file should I edit to allow phpmyadmin remote access? BobS Posted May 3, 2012 Report Share Posted May 3, 2012 There's a specific control for this.Server Configuration>General>Root phpMyAdmin - Change access typeThere are three modes: Local (default)Intranet + passwordsInternet + passwords + sslThis means you MUST enable ssl to use this feature via the Internet.
