Uniform Server 8.1.0-Coral Released:

This version is a significant release with all main components updated to latest versions.

Forum feedback has been positive with several suggestions for improvements these have implemented notably Go-Pear is now preinstalled and the UniTray plugin updated to provide real-time server status. For a list of changes and bug fixes see change log.

Coral UniTray Plugin:

Coral UniTray provides real-time server status monitoring. The tray icon is split top and bottom halves correspond to Apache and MySQL respectively. Status is indicted by colour change: red stopped, green running.

There are three versions:

Basic: File Coral_Unitray_basic_8_1_0.exe

Coral UniTray Basic provides menu items to launch either of the two UniController menus for running the servers as a standard program or as a service.

Intermediate: File Coral_Unitray_intermediate_8_1_0.exe

Coral UniTray Intermediate, in addition to the basic version functionality, includes direct Apache and MySQL server control. It eliminates the need to first open the UniController menu before running servers as a standard program or as a service.

Coral UniTray Full expands UniTray’s capabilities to include the most commonly used server utilities.

Coral Intl Plugin:

To keep The Uniform Server footprint small, support for the PHP Intl extension is provided as a separate plugin: Coral_Intl_8_1_0.exe. The Internationalization extension (Intl) is a wrapper for the ICU (International Components for Unicode) library.
