Borszczuk
Hi, Is there any hope to have version 4 of uniserver updated to feature PHP5? I still find serie 4 fitting my needs much better than version 5, hence my request. Thanks for good stuff anyway
Ric
Just wondering are there any particular issues you currently have with 5-Nano? “Is there any hope to have version 4 of uniserver updated to feature PHP5?” There is always hope! I will take a look and may be publish a beta by the weekend. All the bestRic
Ric
In all honesty there is no point in upgrading a specific element! Hence I have updated to all new components. See announcement Ya! You do need to do some testing, it is a beta. All the bestRic
Borszczuk
Just wondering are there any particular issues you currently have with 5-Nano? Version 4 is just unpack-to-any-folder and go. Version 5 is not really as it complainsabout spaces paths, and since all user files are kept under "Documents and settings"... ;( I know, I know, v4 uses virtual drive. I know I can put in to other folder w/o spaces butI want it to run on my Desktop and don't mind virtual drive. And that's it. Plus v4simply works, so "don't fix it untill it's broken" rule applies
Ric
Thanks for the feedback I found your comments most interesting.Have you had chance to perform any tests on v4 beta2 release? It was a significant change, all components are now up-to-date.Configuration files were tweaked to match hence the beta. All the bestRic Ric i agree with Borszczuk i used version 4 at home and office ( i do a mod at home and use it at office as production server ) its easy with virtual drive as it always point to w: and ican carry it in my thumbdrive right now i upgrade it manually ( i copy some latest from version 5 and replace it in version 4 ) i hope you will not cut off it from production Quote I'm not a coder nor a programmer. I just love learning from error
