Ric
This suggests it’s a router/nat limitation because your server is clearly working: the problem is my friends can access it and when i using proxy from other website i can see it but if i type http://myip its not working...Are you using a router with nat if so what model? All the bestRic

Ric
I am not familiar with this type of router hence can’t offer any real advice. It may be worth taking a look at http://portforward.com/routers.htm Perhaps someone on the forum recognises this equipment and can help! DannyH
Have you tried this: on the computer you are Viewing your website on locally (if you are using windows) Go to - C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc\hosts and open with notepad and you will see this # Copyright (c) 1993-1999 Microsoft Corp. # # This is a sample HOSTS file used by Microsoft TCP/IP for Windows. # # This file contains the mappings of IP addresses to host names. Each # entry should be kept on an individual line. The IP address should # be placed in the first column followed by the corresponding host name. # The IP address and the host name should be separated by at least one # space. # # Additionally, comments (such as these) may be inserted on individual # lines or following the machine name denoted by a '#' symbol. # # For example: # # 102.54.94.97 rhino.acme.com # source server # 38.25.63.10 x.acme.com # x client host 127.0.0.1 localhost Then just add in at the bottom under - 127.0.0.1 localhost # point to my server: 10.0.0.41 www.yourdomain.co.uk #Local server make sure you change the ip number 10.0.0.41 to ponit to your server, Example 192.168.1.34 save and close down all Browsers Hope this helps Danny Quote Personal website Uniform Server - hMail Server - Joomla
