gwbosma
Hi, I was wondering how to secure the Uniform Server. I'm planning to host my own website with it, but I want it to be secure so everyone can see my site and not other files/processes on my network. I would also prevent visitors from logging in to things. How to do this? Willem
Ric
Take a look at this page to put your servers on-line: http://center.uniformserver.com/home_webse...ity.html#online First go to this page: http://center.uniformserver.com/links/links_1.html Use the link on this page and go to Gibson Research and get your ports checks. All ports should be closed with the exception of port 80 any open ports read the notes at Gibson Research that explain any issues. For the server to run you will need to forward port 80 if you have problems check out the link to Portforward Note: Uniform Server is secure (production server), just change the MySQL password. All the bestRic
