reg Posted October 31, 2007 Report Share Posted October 31, 2007 while reading the doc on configuring uniform server as a service i noticed that it was necessary to modify several scripts if u.s. was not going to reside in a default directory in the root of c: i thought that was possibly/probably the reason the w: drive mechanism is used: if u.s. resides on a virtual drive then the scripts don't need to know where u.s. actually resides on a users system. is that the reason for the use of the virtual drive w:? best regards, Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
