  1. Thanks again Ric! I was able to make a sample page in the HTML format. I even downloaded a HTML page that I had created on a hosted site. I copied it and pasted it into Notepad, then named it page1.html and saved it to www. Then I refreshed Internet Explorer and WALLLAA! There it was!! I am now on the PHP part. There I am having some trouble with the command prompt. I typed cd twice but it keeps saying C:\Documents and Settings\then my full name here> Is there something that I haven't set right maybe? I created the a_php file in C drive. and copied the two files to it the php5ts.dll and php.exe files Thanks, Tim

  3. Hello, I just downloaded the uniform server too. I am totally lost. I want to learn. Please understand my ignorance when I ask...which files do I copy to the www folder? Thanks, Tim
