Ferdinand Berthier (born 1789 – died 1859) was a French military officer and the chief of staff under Napoleon Bonaparte. He played a significant role in the organization and strategic planning of Napoleon's army and was a key figure in the Napoleonic Wars. Berthier was instrumental in the success of many of Napoleon's campaigns, particularly in terms of coordinating logistics, troop movements, and communication.
