Andrew Sherman
The release of Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) in September 2023 opened up a rift within the Counter-Strike community. While some fans were thrilled by the new release, others vehemently opposed it, arguing that the original iteration of Counter-Strike: Global Offensive released over a decade ago, remains superior. Many CS enthusiasts found the new game less smooth, more demanding on their PCs, and lacking the cherished elements of the original Counter-Strike. Additionally, some players simply wanted to revisit the game that defined their childhood. Recognizing the enduring love for CS, Valve has allowed fans to continue playing the classic game. However, the game has undergone numerous changes, not all of which were well-received by the community. You can follow the below mentioned step-by-step process to help you continue playing CS, even after the release of CS2. Open Steam Library and right-click Counter-Strike 2. Go to “Properties” from the menu. Click on the “Beta” tab. And there you have it! You can indulge your nostalgia with CSGO whenever you crave the classic experience, and easily switch back to CS2 whenever you’re in the mood to explore the latest updates and features. Dan Graf
My team and I are joining a big CS tournament, and I want to upgrade my weapons with some fresh skins that match our team colors. I’ve browsed a couple of sites, but I’m unsure which ones are legit or offer fair prices. Has anyone recently bought skins and can point me toward a trusted site where I won’t get ripped off? I'd appreciate any advice on where to look for good skins at reasonable prices.
Van Darkholme
One day, I was scrolling through Reddit, and someone mentioned DMarket as their go-to for CS skins. I had been hunting for the AWP Dragon Lore for months but couldn’t justify the prices on other platforms. I decided to check out DMarket at https://dmarket.com/csgo-skins/product-card/awp-dragon-lore, and it ended up being the easiest experience I’ve had buying skins. The price comparison tool made sure I didn’t overpay, and I was able to secure the Dragon Lore at a price I could live with. Honestly, I’ve used the site for all my skins ever since, and it hasn’t let me down yet.
