Restore a big mysql db file in Windows

Recommended Posts

I have a 2.8 GB mysql file (700 MB in sql.gz) and I want to restore it. However, I tried MySQL Administrator and it didnt even start up  Any ideas how to restore this big db? ;)

have you tried to restore it using phpmyadmin? I'm not sure whether it'll work with that big of a file though.
