problems with Server_Start.bat on Win Xp

Featured Replies

I've been using Inform Server 3_2 without problems and though I would upgrade.

When I click Server_Start.bat for 3.3 on my XP box, I get a series of popup error windows:

Apache.exe - Entry point Not Found

The procedure entry point mysql_thread_init could not be located in the dynamic link library LIBMYSQL.dll

Warning

PHP Startup: Unable to load dynamic library '/usr/local/PHP/extensions\php_mysql.dll' - The specificed procedure could not be found.

According to phpinfo(), PHP does seem to have started well.

I can click the run MySQL and it seems to get going ok.

When I try to fire up phpMyAdmin, I get an error window

cannot load mysql extension;

please check PHP configuration

So, it seems like I have some problem with the php/mysql connection, but I do not know how to fix it.

A, make sure you do not have a file called LIBMYSQL.DLL in your C:/Windows or C:/Windows/System32 folder.

B, I hope you did not just copy th new server over your old one?
