November 14, 201411 yr comment_11418 (Uniserver Zero XI - 11.5.0) I would like to delete certain folders inside www with the "Clean-Up delete logs" option. I've already included them inside the config file under folders. Am using a CMS that automatically creates about 3-4 temporary files in one folder. 1 folder creates about 2,200 cache files at one go. Any way of allowing this? Thanks. Report
November 15, 201411 yr comment_11420 Short answer, no its not possible with current implementation. It would appear this menu option is rarely configured otherwise someone would have reported a bug! The bug I found, adding another folder to section [FOLDERS] produces "List index (2) out of bounds"I will fix the above bug and take the opportunity to add a new section in configuration file us_clean_up.ini to meet your requirements. If I have time will publish a new controller within the next two days. All the bestRic Report
November 16, 201411 yr comment_11422 I have published the new controller module ZeroXI_controller_1_1_9.exeTo update an existing installation proceed as follows:1. Create a temporary folder for example temp22. Download module ZeroXI_controller_1_1_9.exe and save to folder temp23. Double click ZeroXI_controller_1_1_9.exe extracts folders and files.4. Replace existing UniController.exe with file temp2\UniServerZ\UniController.exe5. Replace existing us_clean_up.ini with file temp2\UniServerZ\home\us_config\ us_clean_up.iniI have also updated the online documentation and published new documentation module ZeroXI_documentation_1_1_5.exeAll the bestRic Report
November 16, 201411 yr Author comment_11425 Many Thanks Ric for the speedy response. I've done the steps exactly and this small adjustment is in reality a great time saver for me and am sure many other programmers looking for flexibility. Perhaps you could factor it in the next release of UniserverZ so we won't have to install the controller separately at every update? In return, I've been using Uniform Server for long, and have over time, developed optimal configuration options for MySQL, php and Apache that sharply speed up Uniserver in Windows. Is it ok to share them to save others time? Report
