December 2, 200520 yr comment_2003 Hi all I am a newbie and have been using MySQL v4 for a few weeks and have decided to take the plunge and try out Uniform Server. Can someone please tell me why I can't use the MySQL command 'mysqldump' in Uniform Server as I want to save a backup of a database? Also I want to be able to import into Uniform Server a backuped database which I have created in MySQL v4 (I used mysqldump). I don't want to use phpMyAdmin for the above tasks. Many thanks Report
December 2, 200520 yr comment_2004 Thats a problem. The file needed for that operation is removed and thats why. If you want to do it badly, and can't/don't want to use phpMyAdmin, you have to download that same version from the MySQL site and get the file called mysqldump.exe and put it in the W:/usr/local/mysql/bin/ folder. Good Luck Best Regards Olajide Olaolorun The Uniform Server Development Team Report
