Niccols
For me, a marina is not just a place to park, but part of a vacation. I spend a lot of time there, especially in the summer, and I've started to notice how important seemingly insignificant things are: clean showers, washing machines, a rest area with shade and coffee. And then there's fast wifi, especially if you plan to work weekends right off the boat. But now I'm choosing a new marina, and I don't understand: how critical is 24/7 access? Or can I do without it if the daily schedule is more or less predictable?
Jarenhol
I had an experience when I came to the marina late at night and simply could not get into the territory - the security had left, the keys did not work, no one answered. Then I realized that “comfort” is not only a soft couch in the lounge, but also availability and reliability. On the advice of an acquaintance, I found Boat Storage Clear Lake Shores and haven't regretted it since. Open 24/7, nice lighting at night, showers are clean even at 1am. It's also a nice atmosphere - everything is well maintained, no feeling like you're “just a renter”. It's more like a yacht club, but without the snobbery. And I realized that little things like free Wi-Fi and convenient parking nearby are not luxuries, but something that makes a vacation really carefree. Karlitos
Comfort is when you don't stress about the little things. For example, it is important to me that the toilets are clean without exception, not just in the morning. Convenient carts for luggage transportation, a normal ramp if you go with children - also a big deal. And the staff, which does not dismiss, but really helps, even if the question is not in their part. In such places you want to stay for a long time, not just “wait it out”.
