uni server does not run

Featured Replies

Downloaded and extracted Coral_8_6_6.exe (15.4 MB)clicked on start_a_program would not start instead got a box saying:

space detected cannot open spaces not allowed etc.

What am I missing?

How do I get the program to run?

You are trying to run UniServer from a location that has spaces in the folder name, most likely My Documents. This will not work, as per the documentation :)

I always extract and run mine from C:\ or the Desktop. Makes life a lot easier.

Extract it again to C:\ or your Desktop and try again. You can just delete the previous attempt.

Cheers!

I was trying from the desktop which did not work.(because of docs and settings)

Glad you got it working :)

What sort of problems are you experiencing "getting it to run properly"?

I've used XAMPP and WAMP extensively before finding The Uniform Server, and IMHO, it's the best of the bunch! :)
