Charles_
I would like to buy wine in Italy and sell it to restaurants in Germany or other countries. Can you tell me, for example, whether wine or other fragile goods are better transported by truck or rail, and where I can find a reliable carrier? What are the advantages and disadvantages of these methods of transportation?
JohnnyR
In which regions of Italy will you be buying wine? What is the price difference between a restaurant and a winery in Italy? It seems to me that there is less chance of bottles breaking if they are delivered by rail, but I don't know how to ship freight by rail. I have shipped porcelain china from Florence by truck and I found a driver on GetTransport https://gettransport.com/ , you can check if they have carriers that ship by rail. Although I am happy with trucking, nothing broke, the main thing is to pack everything securely.
