New clean install of Windows XP SP3, 32 bit. Internet Explorer version 7. Getting errors like these:

Happens when trying to start Apache or both as either service or program.

I've tried Coral versions 8_1_2, 8_5_1 and 8_5_3.

Couldn't get anywhere with it, reinstalled Windows only to get the same problem.

Processor is an Intel Pentium 4, 1.8GHz.

This machine was running Uniserver 3_3 on Windows 2000 for several years with no problem.

Install this:

http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=29

 

and install all .NET updates: 3.5 SP1 and 4.0. You can get them via optional Windows Updates.

And uninstall the services. Then reboot the server, delete and reinstall Coral 8.5.3.

traxxus, thanks for responding.

I had to install visual c++ redistributable. It was in fact in the help file.

Love those help files. Too bad no one reads them first...
