Hi,

I installed Joomla 2.5.4 on Uniserver 8.5.1

That works.

I stored a new Joomla template in a subdirectory under the template directory.

In Joomla administrator I discovered the new template and installed it.

Result: blank screen.

Refresh. Result: message template is already installed.

Via Extension management I can see the new template as installed and active.

Via Extensions/templatemanagement the template is not visible. So it can not be used.

Who can tell me what to do now?

This is your fail, not Joomlas or UniServer.

 

Uninstall the template first form backend.

 

Then store the template outside of www folder (desktop or so) and install it directly from the Joomla backend.
