Right I have read most posts here and tried all the things to get it to work but cannot from any PC apart from the one running the server.

 

When I first got the server I went to the network IP (since I am on a uni network). And it showed me a error page saying I dont have permision to see / . So what i did then was edit the .htaccess file to get rid of the rules. I then rebooted the server and tried again, problem was this time the page never loaded at all, it timed out.

 

I also tried it with the firewall off.

 

Any Ideas?

    but thats the thing, a while ago I could get access to the apache server becasue it showed me an error msg, but now the page just times out
