In the RC3 of Coral is this changelog: Set APC as default PHP Accelerator

 

On my fresh installation of Win Server 2003 Std. the apache crashes always when this Accelerator is enabled.

 

Reproducable.

 

With eAccelerator i have no problems.

 

 

I highly recommend to disable all Accelerators at default.

    Works like a charm on my WS2003R2-SP2.

    This would take some serious debugging.

     

    Nevertheless, maybe you're right that these shouldn't be on by default.
