Problems with named pipe

Hi all, i've recently installed Orion 7.1.6.

 

I've customized my.cnf with following parameters in [mysqld] section to enable named pipes:

 

enable-named-pipe

socket=mysql.sock

 

When i try to connect with MySQL Workbench or with my php scripts i can't reach MySQL server. Why?

 

I've installed UniServer in D partition, but i don't think this is relevant to the problem...

    Chrome (Android)
    1. Tap the lock icon next to the address bar.
    2. Tap Permissions → Notifications.
    3. Adjust your preference.
    Chrome (Desktop)
    1. Click the padlock icon in the address bar.
    2. Select Site settings.
    3. Find Notifications and adjust your preference.
