Checked Apache server logs and keep getting this:

 

[eAccelerator] This build of "eAccelerator" was compiled for PHP version 5.3.6. Rebuild it for your PHP version (5.3.5)

 

so I guess I need to know how to reinstall php as 5.3.6 before I even start loading files. Any advice on how to do this greatly appreciated.
