Yelisa Posted October 26, 2010 Report Posted October 26, 2010 Hi, Some time ago (few years, really) I working with Uniserver 3.2 (Apache 2.0.54, PHP 5.0.4, MySQL 4.1.12a, phpMyAdmin-2.6.3-rc1) and so far not had problems with compatibility. But now I need to work with php 5.2 and want to update all Uniserver. How to do this step by step?. What version from uniserver is the best for me? thanks Quote
Shyokou Ouyou Posted November 17, 2010 Report Posted November 17, 2010 I think it really depends upon your application, since at least you have to tweak some security switches if you keep your old application but upgrade PHP all the way to, say, 5.3 or so ... AFAIK, those "problems with compatibility" in "Apache", "MySQL", "phpMyAdmin" seem trivial ... I would recommend the last version for you ;-) Quote
BobS Posted December 6, 2010 Report Posted December 6, 2010 See this post for some tips. http://forum.uniformserver.com/index.php?s...post&p=8798 I'll see if we can make this a wiki topic with good coverage. BobS Quote
