Hi there!

I am trying out the MySQL MERGE Storage Engine.

I am able to create a TABLE that is set to use MERGE, but when I query the table I get an error 1168.

Can anybody here check this issue?

By issuing the commend "SHOW ENGINES\G", MERGE is showing as being supported.

I tried doing the same thing on an Ubuntu LAMP server and I can verify that the MySQL setup there is good for MERGE Engine.
