Apache won"t start

Featured Replies

hello people,

I've got a problem with my Apache it will not start even though I've turned off my firewall and anti-virus.

I've just move it from another machine due to a mobo failure, I've move it around from machine to machine many time's before and never had a problem.

The thing is that when I turn apache on I can see it activate in my task manager then go straight off, I also can not access 127.0.0.1 from my browser.

I don't know if anyone could help but even if someone could point me in the right direction I will be greatful

Thanks

pappy

I don't no if this may help but I've just downloaded and installed uniserver 2.3 and it worked, so I know it's not my system, I am wondering if there is something I have to edit to tell the server that it has been moved.

Don't know if this help (I hope so)

Thanks again

Well people it would seem that no one is able to help me with my previous problem, but now I think I may have made it easier (well I hope so), what I've done is I'm using the Apache from my new uniserver 4.3 and Mysql from my old uniserver and my site is running fine, what I want to know is can I get my old UniController to point to and start Apache in the uniserver4.3 is this possible.

Thank people

pappy
